  • We began selling beef under the Kickin Bull Ranch name in September of 2005. The ranch features lean Angus beef raised without the use of growth-promotants, hormones, steroids, sub-therapeutic antibiotics or animal by-products. Our cattle are free to roam our pastures and graze in a low stress environment. We believe that this creates a tender and better tasting meat. Pastures and hay meadows are kept free of weeds without the use of chemicals.
  • Not only do we not use chemicals, but our feed contains Flax seed, Kelp Meal and Sea Salt, just to name a few ingredients. We use an all natural wormer and provide the proper all natural minerals for good healthy growth. Calves are fed a small amount of our high protein feed during the finishing stage, while still grazing on pasture. Hay is provided free choice during finishing.

  • Pasture raised Heritage turkeys
  • Raised in Tampa, Kansas
  • Our Mission at Good Shepherd Turkey Ranch Inc. is to strive to produce historically authentic Heritage Poultry as described by the American Poultry Association's Standards of Perfection.
  • Birds are grown on outdoor range using vegetarian feed with the highest animal welfare standards. We believe that the best way to preserve these standards is by returning them to your dining table.
  • The Heritage Turkey must have a slow to moderate rate of growth. Today’s heritage turkeys reach a marketable weight in about 28 weeks, giving the birds time to develop a strong skeletal structure and healthy organs prior to building muscle mass. This growth rate is identical to that of the commercial varieties of the first half of the 20th century.
